This product is an external disinfectant that has a killing effect on bacteria, viruses, fungi, and spores. Chloramine-T (Chloramine-T) is used in a wide range of applications:
*Chloramine-T is a disinfectant with broad-spectrum bactericidal ability for external use, containing 24-25% effective chlorine, more stable in nature, with killing effect on bacteria, viruses, fungi and germ cells.
*It is commonly used for disinfection of wounds and ulcers, sterilisation of sterile rooms in pharmaceutical companies and disinfection and sterilisation of medical devices.
*It is suitable for the disinfection of drinking water and eating utensils, food, all kinds of utensils, fruits and vegetables breeding industry.
*It has also been used for the disinfection of poisonous gas, etc..
*In printing and dyeing industry, Chloramine-T is mainly used to bleach vegetable fibre, and also used as oxidative desizing agent, especially when cotton cloth is desizing with oxidant, besides the commonly used sodium hypochlorite, Chloramine-T is also a choice.
* In organic synthesis, Chloramine-T can be used as a reagent to provide chlorine positive ions and nitrogen negative ions, as well as an oxidising agent and nitrogen carbene reagent.
*When used with osmium tetroxide, it introduces hydroxyl and sulfonamide groups at the ends of the olefinic double bond, respectively.
*Can react with a range of sulphur-containing compounds to form sulphur-nitrogen bonds, including thiols, sulphur ethers, disulphides, etc.
*Chloramine-T can be used as a nitrogen reagent to form carbon-nitrogen bonds in the Sharpless asymmetric hydroxylation reaction.
*In biological experiments, Chloramine-T is a mild oxidising agent that produces hypochlorous acid in aqueous solution, which oxidises iodine anions to iodine molecules for use in specific biochemical reactions.
